Subject: prairie three awn advice is it like purple three awn?

Little River, TX
If it is it may be difficult to get rid of.
It will germinate at the same time as the milo, and not be shaded out by the milo.
Summer Fallow is a good weed control system, for weeds that germinate during the fallow period.

Being a grass farmer not a row crop type, I do not know what preemerge herbicides work with milo.

Your chemical dealer should have a copy of the Green Book and that will have herbicides for three awn, and herbicides labeled for milo. Then you can cross reference and come up with what might be your answer.
