Western illinois | that's one of the tougher things about spring. we all have to
rely on the weather man, but then mother nature throws a curve ball.
i chose not to plant this weekend because of damp no-till ground with
the possibility (80%) of heavy rain sunday night and monday. i knew i would
have emergence problems and no way to rotary hoe no-till if we got the 3" predicted.
well, as you can guess, it was nice those two days and rained today after i thought
i was finally in the clear. 28th year and still making mistakes! as for your
problem, they'll eventually come up and you will continue to make mistakes, we all do.
i've been burned by planting too shallow more than planting too deep. | |
