There should be about 6 seeds per foot of row, maybe 700 see per pound of runner varieties, which are very good for boiling. You can also go with a Virginia which is bigger. You'll probably need about 125-135 days for them to get to good boiling stage, so it's time to plant. They're growing peanuts in Mississippi now, so there should be some seed out there somewhere.
