Eastern Ontario | I agree except for the day i had 70a of FLAT corn with a huge thunderstorm 2 days away. I didn't even check for a few kernals on the ground, if i could count the ears flying off the corn head in a pass across the field on my fingers and toes it was a good one.....I know it seems hard, but everybody's been there at some point and at least you've got stories to tell the grandkids. Like the one brought up today by the oldtimers about a night just like this 35 years ago when the cold north wind blew all day and the sky cleared at dusk. The next morning everything was froze off....was june 10th i think and the replanted corn still did ok.... | |
