Subject: Liberty for RR marestail

I've got RR marestail. Firstrate has worked well 2 & 3 years ago and only mediocre last year. I'll be double cropping beans behind wheat and barley so waiting on 2,4-D is too long. My thought is to spray Liberty immediately following barley harvest a day or two before planting beans. 32 oz of Liberty is suppossed to kill 6" marestail. I see Liberty is only labelled for Liberty Link corn, beans, and canola. Is there a real risk of residual which could damage non Liberty Link beans planted after the Liberty application? Has anyone tried anything like this before? I've posed this question to Bayer but suspect I already know what their answer will be. Soils are loamy sands and sandy loams. Rainfall is normally short but we could get a thunder shower almost anytime.
