Subject: Re: spike closing wheels- conventional tillage

West Union, IOWA FLOLO Farm 52175
I'm seeing a crack with 2 Dawn's per row also. Alot of rotary hoeing went on locally, so far wherever I checked corns coing and no crust.

I did find on my first planting an area where I seemed to have alot of doubles and some skips, then I remembered that was where I found a tightener on the seed transmission had been tightened the wrong way and happened to notice it when I checked the boxes(1 bag/box) and half the planter had slightly more. I wonder if a Precison 20/20 would have caught that?

I just told the wife, remind me next year I "need" to upgrade moniters. I just about bought the 20/20 for this year but talked myself out of it--loran
