Subject: Gullywasher of a thunderstorm

Malheur County Oregon

Yesterday about 5:00 we had a good thunderstorm dump about 3/4 of an inch in about 30 minutes here. The ground in our area just can't take the water in very well and after about a quarter of an inch it starts running off

This is at the end of my driveway with what is running off the hwy

Looking out the front step of the house

Running off the end of an onion field

Our drip onion field with water from the seed pea field thats one field up running about 50 ft wide across the bottom

The drain cant handle the run off

Water running across the road

We dont these storms very often but at least we didn't have any hail with it

Gotta run now and get to work. Gonna see what things look like after things have drained off this am
