Subject: RE: Kentucky Bluegrass Lawn Question

NW Washington
About the only way to get a grass out of a grass is to burn the whole mess down with RU and start over. You can seed into the old sod if you scratch up the surface a little to bring up a little soil. I did that once to attempt to get a handle on some quack grass in the lawn. All went well, but I should have waited longer and gotten second crack on the next flush of quack that soon showed up. Digging up the old sod and starting over is a real hassle.
