Thanks for sharing your story.  Stuff happens and sometimes people get upset about it.  The way we deal with it can make all the difference. 

There have been many, many times I was really tempted to rip some a new one to put them in their place.  Actually, now is one of those times.  I'll do my best to keep it civil.  Although the person involved is not someone I would consider to be a friend, we tend to live in a small world.  Our paths will likely cross again when dealing with unrelated issues, and being on speaking terms will be helpful when we do.  It will not be easy to terminate our business relationship on good terms with this guy (he is a supplier), but there is little to be gained by draging him through the mud.  Parting on bad terms is not good for anyone. 

Thanks for your post.  It will help me as I try to avoid the temptation to needlessly burn a bridge on a personal level.
