Subject: RE: spike closing wheels- conventional tillage

Modena, Wisconsin

I run two Dawn curvetines per row in mostly notil but do some acres of conventional tillage.  I had a couple fields this year that got rained on between the field cultivator and planter.  The Dawn's did a great job closing the slot and leaving a surface that did not have crusting problems when it rained after planting.  They work just as great in notil, would not run without them.
