glyphosate plus about any of the sulfonylurea herbicides will take the top right out of them. It seems like the combination works far better then either alone does. I used to use 2.5 ox of Canopy (just Canopy, not suffix) with all of my burndown mostly because of the way it knocks the growing point out of the marestail. Basis is similarly effective on corn ground.
