Alton, Ia | I may be too optimistic, but I don't believe a fall NH3 ban will happen. I do believe more stringent regs will be put in place about putting it on before < 50 soil temp though. My guess would be rules for retailers, ie you can't sell it until ..... "Here", the rush is bad enough we have had to wait for NH3 deliveries the last two falls. If it goes all to Spring, the outcry will be tremendous. Adding in the time to apply NH3, holy cow...
The EPC got the sb ban through thanks to their (and the great ICCI) antimosity for hog barns. They have no similar friend with fall NH3.
