Central Illinois | at least you went back and talked to your friend. In time, maybe the damage can be erased. We have always rented ground, and winning and losing ground goes with the territory. A few years ago, it appeared that we were going to lose some ground. While visiting with a friend and neighbor, he hinted that he wouldn't try for it. My response was, if I was going to lose it, I would rather lose it to a friend than a non-friend. If that sounds odd, who would you rather lose ground to? Remember, you are going to lose it. BTW, in the end, our rented ground didn't sell, and we continue to farm it. | |
