southwest illinois | lucked out only got 6/10 so far. some still replanting in trenton theis morning.
i must be far enough south because i've replanted july 15 double crop twice (120 # /acre) 1984and again in 1993 ,and should have just a few years back. seems like beans will rot in wheat straw easy given right conditions.
given the fact that i havent seen any volunteer corn growing this spring but ihave seen a rotten ear of corn in the ground i dont feel overly confident on replant of corn till a drought starts.
Do weed seeds rot in the ground?
seems like all my replant corn fields have big holes.just like most years.
i got 220 acres to keep that isprayed postemerge 5-20 im glad to know that igot about 5 acres to spot in those fields i planted on 4-30 and 5-1 | |
