| I been thinking back when Katrina hit down here in the south and a few did some price fixing on gas and such. I was thinking the other day that I would bet that these chemical stores that sell fertilizer talking about urea bought it back in the early spring or late winter at about 350-400 dollars a ton. I see now that in the past week urea has gone up to around 700 dollars I know that the urea I put on wheat was 450 a ton. I had a farmer ask me if I thought that this was price fixing or gouging I thought about and think that it very well could be. I then thought about sending a complaint to the attorney general and see if they might could look into this. Its just stinks to no end when the price of stuff goes up that much in a few weeks | |
