What's that saying? Figures lie and liars figure?

Don't think they are lying but agree they are overly, overly optimistic.

Sure a sorry start in most of the country from what I see here and hear from a lot of you in email.

We tried to smoke oak leaves I think it was when I was a kid. Parents smoked, shouldn't you try it? That stuff would gag a maggot! Tried some nice brown tobacco once when we were stripping tobacco. Wow, think I was sick for three days.

Never tried the wacky weed but sure learned what it smelled like in the 70's. How could you get past the smell!

I guess Jim Stafford got by the smell in Wildwood Weed, that song still makes me laugh.

USDA? Farm Bill? Isn't it a FOOD Bill?

I had to report acres and conditions as an Extension Agent and tried my best but it is hard to do unless you are close to the farms and understand what is going on.

Think we lost that.
