Subject: RE: the rain shower....

Greencastle, Pa.
No Joe, It came down,up or over to my farm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lost 30 ac.rye for silage [out of 100] to rain. Bugs were eating alfalfa, Martin said spray or cut,we cut. That was on the 6th it's still out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No corn planted yet. Can't get trucks into fields to spread the 500 tons of turkey manure that is "stacked" in one of our bunker silos because it was to wet to spread when we cleaned out the t-barns. Manure pit is full to running over with heifer manure that was to go on alfalfa fields when that came off, well it's still in the manure pit that is full to running over all because of the 12 inches of rain that we have had in the last four weeks.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jim Bob was "netting" carp out of our bottom field a week ago and giving then to pass-er-bys. We have to Mon. night[calling for more rain] to do something with the "snot" that was good alfalfa two weeks ago. Hope we don't leave to many tracks [ruts] in the fields. Someone said that June is a good month to plant corn, we will see if they are right cus it an't going to happen before then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh what the hell.I needed a break any-way!!!!!!!!!!!
