Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums.
We have some not so distant milling elevators that are paying up to $0.42 premium for hard red vs. soft red. 2008 harvest year is the pilot year. I'm going to be watching what happens. Is there a significant yield lag on the hard wheat? What else about hard red is difficult? There is virtually no hard red in Virginia. I was thinking about trying something new for 2009.
