Subject: Re: Pulling stuck Combines

south Texas , York Rife Freemason
been there too . we had some wheat like that one year makes for a BAAAADDDD day dragging 5/8" chains through the mud. we must have stuck the 9600 5 times on one 150 acre field . a couple of times i was worried about breaking the combine . also found out a 5/8" chain will hold all a 8870 deere can put out.we stuck a cart in a field edge in a low spot ,could not pull it out. had to go back and get the auger and another tractor ,we had to auger out the grain into another cart , another long day . we have had 2 dry years here ,those are worse than pulling out combines and carts.
