My mechanical fuel pump, on my old continental engine irrigation pump ,quit so we put a 12V low pressure fuel pump on it. The first pump didn't last 5 minutes and the second lasted 3 hours before it quit.Are these thuings a waste of money or am I doing something wrong? The pump is only on when the key is on.
