Wheat cool conditions after a little heat and sunshine made the wheat try to hold onto the head but it grew too fast those warm days. Kinda stuck in the middle.
Sign of unusual growing conditions.
I have no idea of impact on yield but you and I know it is not normal development.
It is all over sw Ohio, again some fields worse than others. SC looked at neighbors fields Friday, never heard the report to the farmer.
Lots of wheat and corn going backwards instead of forwards with cool, almost cold wet non growing conditions.
