| I haven't been in the field since 5/6 at which point I thought I was midway thru corn planting. In the meantime, I have been on the phone trying to potentially line up replant corn seed. In terms of switching fields to beans, they tell me beans can not be gotten but corn seed is plentiful. I have planted lateMay-early June corn before.......don't ever remember being happy with the yields of those crops. Regardless of what I am doing, the cure is just getting back in the field. It flies against my being to be idle like this in May. | |
