Subject: rain required for 28% take down

Nw Iowa
How much rain is required to take 200 units of 28% down to the root zone for corn? Switched a farm to corn on corn last week before they had 1- 2 inches of rain forcast. The stalks were already disked and the 28 was applied and the field was planted. kind of a semi no till situation. I usually use nh3 with just 30 units of 28 with the herbicide. Alot of no till corn around here gets the 28 applied this way and then planted. We didn't get the 1- 2 inches but i did get .5" of rain. Since i haven't done the complete liquid N program much i want to know how much rain will be needed to get the n where i need it. There is alot of ground moisture here so will the moistures meet and take the N down with it?
