We thought about cutting back as well, but decided not to at the last minute. Scouted fields today, and I am really glad I did not. Cotton is yellow and looks plain sick. We figured we ended up with about 3 seed per foot.
Finished planting in the mud Tuesday night for a neighbor. I apologized for being so late and he was glad to have had it in the bag rather than in the field.
