Subject: Anyone use Dupont Affinity on wheat?

Mid Michigan
I just talked to our crop service today and was asking about rates of 2-4D on wheat and he suggested trying a new product called Affinity. After a little conversation about it I decided to let them apply it for us. They have a 100 ft wide rig that can be done in about a half hour. I was suprised that the rate of the product is only 3/4 ounce per acre! What does this stuff have in it, plutonium? He said it would work really well, (better than the 2-4-D) on controlling mustard, dandelions and chickory, and a lot of other miscellaneous weeds. I didn't care as long as it doesn't hurt the wheat or ding the soybeans that are going on there next year. Anybody using this product and has it been successful? It costs about $7.66 per acre for the Affinity, .60 cents for the adjuvant and $7 per acre for the application cost. Total of about $15.25 per acre custom applied. Thanks for any info on the stuff. Wheat is about 5-6 inches tall and growing fast.
