NOAA is fairly good at putting out what they call High Wind Advisory's but I don't know what MPH they start at.

Never found anything that accurate myself but if someone knows better, let us know!

They are lucky to be able to say there were 50 MPH winds today at Blankville, forecasters that is.

Here is one prediction model I quickly found on Google at:

Find your region then look for Wind Advisory.
