just getting into it myself but 1 1/2 to 2 inch depth is standard. but with your dryness and shorter season i would lean toward 1 1/2 inches. and your fertilizer ratio seems right on, neighbors and i aim for 30,000 seed population. just my 2 cents. do you do spring wheat up there? barley or oats?
