SWOH | i don't trust meters very much. when i get filled by a meter and then take it across the scales it's never the same. i've also gotten herbicide shuttles that i was assured they were calibrated and found out they were about 2 gallon off. so i calibrate anything that i get now myself. i've had some places try different things to get me. like pulling across the scales with a shuttle in the truck, get the shuttle filled while they're also throwing some 2 1/2 jugs in the truck, back across the scales, get the ticket for the shuttle and 2 1/2's, pull out of the driveway and think "wait a minute, that ain't right, they just charged me twice for the 2 1/2's cause they got weighed too". don't know for sure if they did it on purpose but coming from this place it wouldn't surprise me. it takes a long time before i can trust anybody. i double check everything now. | |
