Are your production costs exactly the same as your next door neighbor's? My point is, surely there could be some variables possible that could influence the price up or down in like genetics from either competetive or partner companies. Frieght alone, from a distribution point could have an impact.
No matter how hard I try to produce number two yellow corn as inexpensively,efficiently and market it as well as or produce as many bushels as my uncle who lives next door, I never seem to get the job done. My quality is better however. But his cost per bushel is lower. I would suspect a similar situation in seed corn production or packaging.
Could be wrong though!!!!!!
