Subject: EZ-Steer 4WD Setup - Which is correct?

On the EZ500/Vehicle setup/Antenna to Axle offset the picture shows the reference point as the front axle. In the written documentation "Ez-steer assisted steering system Version 1 REV A" it shows the reference point as the nose of the vehicle. Which one is the correct one to use?

On the Wheelbase menu the picture shows the reference points as the front axle and the pivot point. For an 8450 John Deere this measurement is something like 79" yet Trimble recommends 125" which is the distance from front axle to rear axle. The 125" value produces the correct results. On the help screen it states "On Articulated 4WD vehicles it is half the distance between the front and rear axles." Do we input axle to axle and the 500 divides by 2 or do we measure to the pivot?

Last but not least, how do you calculate the left and right freeplay values (I don't mean the offset value from the calibration wizard). I understant that the EZ-Plus actualy moves the steering wheel to determine this value. Do we simply guess it on the 500?

Any advice or tips would be gratefully welcomed on these or any other settings that deal with the ez-steer.
Thank you in advance.
