Your beans will use aprox 40# of Phosphorus and 60# of Potassium, assuming 50 bpa. I would offer to pay to apply that. He would be wise to put on more of each, esp potassium,...lots of that. He would also be wise to pull the soil samples and apply lime needed to get it close to 7.0 PH. I wouldnt pay for any of that though as it wont do much good for a bean crop planted right after application.
