the EZ-Guide 500 has a startup current surge of about 4-5 amps while the internal capacitors are charging up at turn on and a running current of around 1 amp. The EZ-Steer motor can draw 5-6 amps when turning hard. Be careful with a 2 amp "clean" power supply.
