Subject: CCS97-How's the ATU 200 doing?

Leesburg, Ohio
I remember from a post several days ago, you said you had an original ATU, and the new 200. Just wondered if you got the new one going, and if it's any better than the original.

We are still having issues with our ATU on the 8300. It just won't aquire the line very well at all, and is doing some really flakey stuff. If you put it exactly on the line to begin with, it will ususally stay there until you get to a waterway, and then it goes nuts.

Today, it has started "taking off" when you put it on line after a turn, and hiht the button, it just goes nuts. The only way to make it work it grab the wheel, jerk it back on line, hit the button, and repeat. Have to go thru this process twice for every turn. We didn't change anything.

The integrated valve version is working great, so maybe it has us spoiled. We're going to have to make a change here.
