Its not that bad i hope i have not put you off it probably less dangerous in thoses areas than most cities,common sense is the way to work when the sign indicates do not swim crocodiles frequent area they mean it.Altough because the crocs have been protected for many years now they are becoming more frequent in populated areas ,i was at a farm the other day near the Burdekin river the farmer said he knew of one down river that the parks and wildlife had to shift as the irrigation people had to conduct work with divers and while they worked with smaller ones they refused to work with this one it was caught and measured 18 ft long. I guess once a politition family member get eaten maybe they will review the protection.
You may have heard of Steve Irwin crocodile man he is one game person he is also a bit over the top but he runs a great zoo i hope he never slips over in the feeding area.
