I did an internet search inorder to see what a Meyer "live bottom" is. Maybe Meyer is stretching it a long ways to call this a "live bottom"; I may be wrong but it appears to be a drag bottom, similar to a manure spreader - the load is not carried as a live bottom does, but the load is drug across a floor. I don't think I would use it for gravel except in very small quantities.
