Fruita CO | Yup, we fiddled with it for 2-3 yrs., he thought it had been turned up before he got it so I set the fuel back, all that did was make less power, no less smoke-tried a different turbo, no better. I knew the engine was on its way out when his hired man pulled up to the end one day, idled it back & killed it-the damn thing started boiling instantly, & that stupid Bosch pump wouldn't put out enough fuel to start it hot...it was 15 min. before we got it to fire, & it never was quite the same after that...the thing would almost glow in the dark, it ran so hot... | |
