I think you want to find a newer style weight bracket that has the holes in the side, then you just swap the front bracket and bolt the side rails to the weight bracket and use suit case weights. I'm guessing it'd be a starter block off a 4030 or newer and it was all steel.

If your trying to use the older flat weigths you'll probaly have to figure out a way to extend themounting bolts with a spacer to clear your side rails HTH--loran
