Here are a few more really good sites on the same topic...

http://www.miniaturecattlecorral.com

http://www.crosscreekcattle.com (Lowlines)

http://www.AAAlowlines.com

http://www.kylowline.com

I raise Lowlines, as well as fullsized beef cattle & they are great. I can't speak for mini Herefords, but Lowlines will work for the commercial breeder (downsize cows & breed to virgin heifers for calving ease) & they will work for the small acreage farmer (pets, grassfed beef, freezer beef, etc.) . Lowlines may not be for everybody, but they are good functional cattle & can work for a variety of purposes in many different settings. Kit Pharo is currently marketing semen on 2 Lowline bulls to commercial ranchers. Last year a Lowline bull was his top semen seller!! Lowlines are a lot more than a "novelty breed".
