| My drill is about 10 years old and every year half of the bearings on the double disk openers wear out and have enough wobble the I have to replace them. It has become a regular routine every spring replacing bearings. I plant about 110 acres a year on it, is other ppl having this problem. I do use dry fertilizer but I take good care to wash it off good and oil them before storing it. The manual say to use a sealing chalking after replacing the bearing but my dealer never heard of that before. The disks are wore out and I am planning on replaceing them for the fall grain, so I wanted to figure this out and put the new bearings in right and advise would be appriciated. | |
