West Texas | Some love 'em, some hate them.
I always liked them. Have been around 2 of them in my lifetime. Both gave very few problems and would pull with tractors twice their size as long as you hung some weight on them and goo tires. They sip fuel compared to the Deere's of that era.
The first one I ran for a neighbor and had around 4000 hrs on it. He never had much trouble with it. I ran it for him one fall harvesting peanuts and after that leveling land.
We bought a brand new one back in 1983 that had been sitting on a dealers lot and got it for half of what a Deere of same size would have cost then.
I put over 5000 hrs on it with very few problems. Never had any TA problems. A/C went out once and some other little stuff. | |
