southern Alberta | That happens when the flighting does not center itself on the bottom halfs tapered peg. There is to much of a gap between the flighting halves at the connection. But the drive tang still catches the top half of the flighting to turn it, off center though. Stand up the auger and loosen the bearing on the top of the tube, move top flighting down 1/8 an inch or so. Usually sliding the top flighting down towards the bottom lets the flighting "nest" more securly on the centering peg. Has worked for me. Clear as mud?? | |
