Elkmont, AL
I had the same problem on my 7120 along with them being hard to get to stay in when you hooked up. I took the couplers off and pulled the coupler barrels out of the housing holding them and took some brake parts cleaner or electrical cleaner can't remember and cleaned them real good. Tried to find a cleaner that wouldn't hurt the o-rings and seals. Seemed like this helped a great deal, however as we speak I've got one coupler that started pouring oil yesterday so I may have to replace the o-rings in it. I also priced new coupler barrels $88 bucks a piece. I agree that for whatever reason cih could have done a better job on the couplers, Ive never had a problem with a deere coupler, although this is about my only gripe with a magnum tractor compared to our deeres.
