Subject: RE: 8400 Chip question

Saronville NE
I work parttime for a neighbor, when Im no doing custom hayin and my own little bit of farmin, they have a 95 8400 that has never been chipped or turned up and is dynoed at 305, it has 8350 hrs on it, the pump was off at 5500 hrs but otherwise motor has never been opened up, it will run a little warm on hot days. But that extra power versus their other 95 8400 puttin out 265 you know its there when you put it on the ripper in the fall, or 12r dbl bar stalk chopper in the spring you can run over 2 mph faster with the higher hp 8400, 13.7 mph covers alot more acres than 11.5 does in the same day. But it also definetly likes more fuel than the other 8400 also.
