Subject: Kinze monitor problems

SW MN and Gold Canyon AZ
K -3000 monitor on a 16/31 model 2600. The row units lights are real dim, can barely see any light. My old JD with low rate sensors were very bright and you could tell if a row sensor was working even in broad daylight.
I thought maybe a bad ground so I shined up the monitor ground, made no difference. I used electric cleaner on all the connectors and they all looked nice and shiny.
The wiring harness from the hitch back to the Y that carries all the wires for all 31 rows had been spliced so I got a new one and nothing changed.
Any thoughts??
Maybe the high rate sensors don't shine very bright??
