Manitoba, Canada | I have a 4720 that had dealer-installed 100' boom upgrade like the 48's. And absolutly the booms are very hard to control. I have experience running pretty much every color of sprayer, and these booms are the most unpredictable i have come across. I did the same thing, tightening the springs, but still far from perfect. I have been complaining to the dealer since last year in september, and the typical story "never herd of it before". Now they are feeding me a line that there is an updated shock and spring kit. They are coming out to install it on sat, so i will see and keep you guyes up to date. I figure i will humor them by letting them try it, and when it doesnt work, im gunna try adding 2 extra shocks?? Any ideas?? There is a colony around here that installed small airbags on the top of the rack where those big bumper go.
