Subject: RE: $50 Harbor Freight...lock up?

Chebanse, IL.....

So, will either the Harbor Frt (made in Chicago?) or the Alemite NOT lock up while on zerks that won't take grease?

If not-why not?

When changing cartridges in the HF or Alemite after running gun empty, do you have to re-prime the pump head, or does it just take off automatically.

These are 2 problems we've had w/Lincoln electrics over the past 10 yrs or however long they've been out.

I've always wondered why some enterprising engineer type from Chicago (?) doesn't invent an electric drive that replaces the hand pump on ANY conventional hand gun. It would just have to have a rod that cycles in/out.
