Long as your cat runs well- doesn't eat ya outa house an home for repairs, hours aren't too big an issue.

Spuds do look good ! Potatoes used to be an important crop in this area. There's only 1 grower left now. Think he splits between contract chippers, (mostly) and contract fresh market. Good storage, harvest labor, Fert. and equipment costs are intensive. Potatoes are like Orchards,,, something a farmer doesn't just "jump into for a year or so". But all those MickyD fries, chips, "stuffed" potatoes and potato flakes gotta come from somewhere !!
