Subject: Re: Seed Cleaners

South Central Kansas
I'm still using brushes. I have no other equipment to clean with.

I clean only my own certified wheat to sell so I run it pretty slow. In wheat with no cheat I can run 150-175 bph. Light cheat or downy brome will slow me down to 125 or so. Any buckwheat or heavy wheat will slow me to 100 or less. I turn the air up especially if the wheat is heavy.

Last year's wheat was a challenge since most of it was 52-55 test weight. Glad we had no buckwheat at all in it.

This cleaner would do 250 to 300 bph max if I was just custon cleaning for farmers. most of them would be pleased with the job. used to custom clean till 1993.

What kind of capacity are you getting with your machine?
