Not early here either. We have about 5% planted and now very wet and rain forcast next three days. Optimum planting date in my opinion for us is Mar 25 to Apr 6. Good dates Mar 20 to Apr 10. Anything after that severely flirting with high temps during pollination and hot/dry during fill. We will plant a lot later than that because of lack of soy seed and good crop insurance guarantees up to final plant date. But yields will likely be down. John |
