| Depends on the version of firmware you're using. When you power up the display and go to the MAIN screen, the firmware version is displayed there.
If the version is 3.2 or lower, you're limited to 16MB as the max size for your card. Version 4.7 was just released for the Universal Display, and allows you to use larger ATA cards (32MB +) . Nearly any size card can be used with v4.7, although there's no real reason to use anything too big, since you should be backing up your data on a regular basis. 128MB should be plenty. Your dealer can upgrade your display to 4.7 if you're interested. Your YMIU will also probably need to be updated. Current YMIU firmware is 2.2.
The guys at AFS support recommend the model AEPUDDU from envoydata.com. This will work for ATA Flash cards as long as you have a current Windows operating system. If you happen to be running Win95 or 98, you'll need a different reader. (Win98SE is ok with the AEPUDDU). | |
